Academic/Vocational Goals
As a College Internship Program student, your individual academic and vocational goals will be reviewed and considered prior to the establishment of your academic program. It is the aim of the College Internship Program tutoring staff to provide an academic support system, which will enable each student to achieve the greatest academic success possible.

CIP Academic Department
The Academic Department at the College Internship Program (CIP) consists of the Academic Coordinator and several academic tutors. You will be able to participate in both individual and small group instruction in basic study areas, as well as receive assistance with time management, and organizational/ study skills.
Individual and Small Group Tutorials
As a student at the College Internship Program, you will typically attend individual tutoring sessions throughout the week, which are designed to improve basic academic skill levels.
If you are a student taking college courses, you will receive specific tutoring in those subject areas as well as attend at least two out of four supervised Academic Assistance classes per week.
These Academic Assistance classes are held Monday through Thursday between 7 and 9 P.M., and are supervised by qualified academic staff. Students also have group tutorials and form study groups for further assistance.
